Hello, I'm Carin.
Photographer, creative director, Swedish, west Londoner, mother of three.
I've been working in the creative industry for over twenty years - first as a designer, then increasingly behind the lens. Now, photography is my main passion, and I've spent nearly a decade helping brands, businesses and people tell their story visually.
What makes me excited is when a client sees their images for the first time and realises they actually look like themselves; only better.
I know that being in front of a camera doesn't always feel natural. So I don't just show up and start photographing - I direct, style and help shaping the scene around you. Moving props, guiding how you sit or stand, adjusting the light - so that by the time we're done, the images feel effortless.
The same goes for brand and lifestyle shoots. I've rearranged restaurant tables at the Fairmont Windsor, worked on floral setups with luxury florists, and directed models on location. I believe how something looks before you shoot it, is just as important as how you shoot it.
Many of my clients are health and lifestyle brands, interior designers, creatives, wellness businesses and founders - people who care strongly about how their world looks and want images that match that.
I also work with creative and marketing teams who want to develop their in-house photography; building confidence with a camera, understanding light and composition, and learning how to shoot content that feels on-brand. My recent mentoring sessions with the team at Sophie Paterson Interiors is a good example of what that can look like in practice.
