Family Photography in London
Capture the essence of your family with a relaxed and enjoyable photoshoot tailored to your unique story. I will spend up to 1.5 hours in your home, a park, or any other favourite spot, creating a mix of candid, in-the-moment pictures and beautifully natural family portraits. The focus is on keeping the session stress-free and fun, embracing the individuality that makes your family special.
I’m here to guide you every step of the way - from helping you decide what to wear to offering tips on how to prepare for the session. We can have as many calls as needed to make sure everything feels right for you. And because life (and weather) can be unpredictable, I’m flexible with rescheduling - even up until the day before or sometimes the morning of your shoot.

FAQ
What happens after I've booked a session?
Once we've found a suitable date, I will email you a booking form and an invoice for a deposit to secure the booking. Then we'll schedule a call to discuss the session in more detail (or via email if you prefer!).
How long is a session?
A session usually lasts between 1 and 1 1/2 hour, but can sometimes be slightly shorter or longer - I will make sure I stay as long as is necessary to capture some great shots.
What shall I wear?
Wear what you feel comfortable in! Casual but smart, and definitely not formal. (unless it's a special occasion!) There's no need to match each other, but similar tones (ie not too strong contrasts) usually works well. Patterns are fine but nothing too strong or overpowering (and stay away from logos / text on clothes)
Just get in touch if you would like some more tips!
What if the weather is bad?
As we live in England, there is always a risk that it might rain - that's why I'm always happy to reschedule to another date (when it hopefully won't rain!). A bit of drizzle doesn't matter though for in-home sessions.
How do I prepare for a session?
Don't worry - you don't need to prepare too much for a photo session! However, I will send you a guide on some tips and ideas for outfits, timings and more, to make sure it runs as smoothly as possible.
Should the session be at home or outdoors?
It's up to you, and depends on what style you're going for! In-home feels a bit more intimate, and there is usually more things to intereact with (reading on the bed, baking in the kitchen, etc). You can have an in-home session in virtually any home - I often find beautiful light in the most unexpected places in a house. You also get your home as a lovely backdrop which is really nice to look back at in the years to come.
Outdoor photography is equally beautiful - we are lucky to be surrounded by some gorgeous parks in west London! Outdoors is also often a great hit with the kids as they love running around in big spaces. I always ask the families to bring a blanket, to get some nice and snuggled up photos along with the action / walking / standing photos.
What if my kids are playing up?
Don't worry - kids are kids and this sometimes happen! As we have quite a bit of time, I'll just wait until your little one cheers up a bit (distractions such as a game, a little snack or some tickles often help!).
I tend to schedule most of my sessions mid-morning, as that's when most children seem to be in a good mood and still full of energy.
When will I be able to see my photos?
Your photos will be ready to view in an online gallery roughly 2-3 weeks after the session. I often send a little sneak peek shortly after the session, to give you a bit of a taster (and hopefully get you excited to see the rest of the photos!)
