Capturing confidence and professionalism: A Personal Branding shoot with Alli
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Alli from Reflection for Direction for her personal branding session. As a sustainability and management consultant, Alli specialises in helping businesses navigate complex changes. She wanted her photos to reflect her professionalism, reliability, and confidence, while keeping a business-casual, approachable feel.
Starting at the Co-Working Space
We began the shoot at a modern co-working space in Borough, London. The clean lines and contemporary design of the space provided the perfect setting for modern & professional portraits. The natural light was ideal for capturing Alli’s calm confidence and approachable demeanor. The relaxed environment also allowed for some candid shots of Alli in action, reflecting her hands-on approach to working with clients.
Exploring the City Backdrops
Next, we headed out to explore the Southbank. With iconic views of Tower Bridge, Millennium Bridge, and the striking City skyline, we captured a series of images that combined urban energy with sophistication. The vibrant surroundings reflected the dynamic nature of Alli’s work, while the contrast of greenery and open spaces added a softer, more approachable tone. It was the perfect setting to showcase the balance of strength and adaptability that defines her brand.

Alli chose a mix of business-casual outfits that complemented the surroundings. Dresses, flats, and jackets created a modern, professional look that felt authentic and comfortable. Her choice of subtle colours added warmth and personality, keeping the focus on her approachable yet authoritative presence.
